Information for Analytics & App Improvement

With your explicit consent, we use third-party analytics services to understand how our users interact with the App. This helps us to fix bugs, prioritize new features, and enhance the user experience.

• Service Provider: We use Amplitude, Inc. for product analytics.

• Data Collected: When you grant consent, Amplitude may collect:

• Usage Data: Events you perform within the app, such as features used, buttons clicked, and session length.
• Device Information: Your device type, operating system, and a pseudonymous installation ID.
• IP Address: We have configured Amplitude to anonymize your IP address before storage.

Legal Basis: We only process this data based on your explicit consent (according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which we ask for when you first use the App. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the App's settings menu.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with third-party service providers (data processors) who act on our behalf, such as:

• Amplitude, Inc.: Located in the USA, used for product analytics as described above. Data is transferred to the USA based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures to ensure a level of data protection compliant with EU standards. We store your data only for as long as necessary:

• Account Information: For as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete this information within e.g., 30 days.

• Analytics Data: Pseudonymous analytics data in Amplitude is typically retained for a period of e.g., 24 months to allow for year-over-year analysis.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request that we delete your personal data.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for analytics tracking at any time via the App's settings.
• Right to Data Portability: You can request that we provide your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to Restrict Processing: You can request that we limit how we use your data.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory data protection authority.
